Ryan McKerley makes pots in Austin. He's been doing that since 1995. He apprenticed with Billy Ray Mangham at the Eye of the Dog Art Center from 1995 to 2005. Ryan teaches at the Dougherty Arts Center and at the Eastside Pot Shop on a regular basis during normal times. Ryan and his dad, Bill, just built a new studio in Ryan's backyard in East Austin. Ryan mostly makes soda fired porcelain pottery. Ryan also makes pots for Schoolhouse Electric in Portland Oregon and Take Heart shop in Austin.
