I explore, I create, I change, I learn. I embrace being a storyteller, botanist, biologist, a Buddhist, chemist and alchemist, dancer, dreamer, lover, a friend, informer and guide on my quest to create that one important cup or sculpture at the ripe and wonderful age of 81. I look back, as a Japanese potter describes the first firing of a new kiln-Hidari-uma (dark left side-horse), to my old work as I dream of new work riding on my spirit horse into the future.
