Have you ever known a potter who wasn’t a good cook as well? For me, creating in the kitchen and innovating in the studio go hand in hand. I love the many opportunities to pair my culinary talents with the dinnerware I’ve created as a potter. The result is a beautiful meal served on unique, handmade tableware that nourishes both my body and spirit. A lifetime of experience in ceramics has allowed me the freedom to explore and expand my original ideas for tableware in the studio. Countless dinner sets later, I continue to be excited by the limitless design possibilities in clay that inspire me to create new and unique dishes that are practical, utilitarian and works of art.
