Contemporary, Functional Ceramic Art Collection
My range of handmade wall tiles has been inspired by architecture and by repeating patterns in wallpapers and textiles. The panels can be repeated to cover any area. They can be used on interior walls and are perfect for behind stoves and ranges, along kitchen work surfaces and as splash-backs. The tiles are all hand-made from porcelain in my studio in Cardiff using my own plaster moulds. Subtle irregularities emerge from the characteristics of the material and the making process. They have all been shown without grout but look best with a pale cream one.
