Carole Ann Fer

Carole Ann Fer blends studio time, work, and country living on the seacoast of down east Maine. She co-owns Dowstudio Gallery (established in 2004) with her wife, metalsmith Ellen Wieske. The gallery is a vital resource showing the work of emerging and established potters and contemporary jewelers from across the country. Education and a strong personal practice are the two most important motivational factors of her connection to the clay world. She is also on staff at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts.
